On July 17, 2026, 36-year-old Chantel Brooks was last seen shortly before 2 a.m. in a CVS parking lot off Travis Boulevard in Fairfield, California, after leaving her hotel job in San Francisco.
Surveillance footage showed Brooks leaving work shortly before 12:30 a.m. that morning.
A close friend became concerned after going several days without hearing from Brooks and contacted her family.
Brooks’ brothers, Calvin and Kevin Robinson, then realized they were no longer able to track her location through her mobile device.
Brooks was driving a black Infiniti when she disappeared.
A missing-person flyer distributed by her family states that the vehicle’s license plate was later detected in Oakland. However, police said they have not been able to confirm that Brooks’ vehicle was last seen there.
More than three weeks after her disappearance, Brooks’ family has continued canvassing Fairfield and other parts of the Bay Area and distributing flyers in hopes of locating her.
Her brothers described Brooks as a happy, good-hearted woman who often put other people first.
The investigation into her disappearance remains active.
Anyone with information about Brooks’ whereabouts should contact the Fairfield Police Department.
