She Allegedly Tried To Scam A Senior. Then Jailers Found $3,200 Hidden In Her Vagina.

A woman accused of trying to scam senior citizens was arrested after suspicious intended victims contacted police. Authorities say jail staff then discovered $3,200 in cash concealed inside her body during booking.

On August 18, 2026, authorities announced that 31-year-old Moniquie Love Turnbull would face additional charges after $3,200 in cash was allegedly discovered concealed in her vagina while she was being booked into jail.

Turnbull had previously been arrested after investigators said she showed up at a senior citizen’s home in Martin County, Florida, claiming she was from the victim’s bank.

Authorities said Turnbull allegedly told the victim that the victim’s account had been compromised and that she needed to collect the victim’s debit or credit card for proper disposal.

While deputies were investigating that report, authorities said they were alerted to another call involving Turnbull as a possible suspect.

The intended victims became suspicious and contacted law enforcement.

Turnbull was located before leaving the area and arrested.

She was initially charged with scheme to defraud, felony use of a two-way communication device, and fraudulent use of a credit or debit card without consent involving a victim 60 years old or older.

Authorities said that after Turnbull entered jail, $3,200 in cash was allegedly discovered hidden inside her vagina.

She now faces an additional charge of introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.

Authorities said it is not yet clear where the money came from.

The cash was collected as evidence.

Turnbull is currently being held on a $500,000 bond.

The charges are accusations, and Turnbull is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
